Canon inks deal with ADOS Corporation
- Canon signs pan-European distribution agreement with document management company, ADOS Corporation.
- Deal will enable Canon to resell market-leading document management software across Europe.

PARIS , October 5, 2005 – Canon Europe, world leader in digital imaging technology, has today announced it has signed a pan-European, distribution agreement with leading document management solutions provider, ADOS Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement Canon will now add ADOS smart document management to its solutions portfolio, which will be available across Europe.

Created to support business processes, ADOS document management solutions enable businesses to archive, search and share documents quickly and easily, therefore reducing filing, distribution and lost document costs. Therefore Canon is able to improve productivity, quality of service and turnaround time within organisations’ document intensive processes. As a result, organisations are able to provide more effective business process management and workflow, which is becoming ever-more important in driving business efficiency.

Canon MFPs can be used to capture paper documents directly into the ADOS solution with appropriate index information, utilising eCopy document distribution software. The solution is also compatible with Canon’s scanners, enabling documents to be scanned and saved across the network more effectively. ADOS also integrates with MS Office applications, MS Exchange, COLD and SAP for the capture of electronic files. The flexible nature of the ADOS solution means that it can be used not only on a departmental basis but also across the enterprise, even for organisations within multiple offices located across Europe or globally.
